Chief Executive Officer

Scott Norris, serves his community as an officer with the Owensboro Police Department, with more than 35 years of experience.

For most of his life, carpentry has been a skillset and an interest that Scott has benefited from both professionally and personally.

Prior to joining the police force, Scott worked as a flooring installer and owned a flooring company from 1988 until 1991. The flooring company led Scott to take on more construction work as he went on to design three houses and build four.

While building these homes, Scott began to develop an idea for a safer and easier installation method for lighting and fans. Scott took his idea to a local tooling company and worked to create a prototype for proof of concept. His idea won the Bucks for Bright Ideas Contest which allowed for further development through Owensboro Community and Technical College with 3D printing and CAD drawing. Once it was clear that his design was viable, Scott and his partners obtained patents for and the trademark of CLIK, the Complete Lighting Installation Kit.
